The Official Website of Dan Reckard

Dan Reckard is an award winning pianist, saxophonist, composer, arranger and music educator based in Los Angeles. An active member of Los Angeles’s growing community of creative musicians, he has been featured on KKJZ radio and on FOX’s television series, Glee. Dan musically directed a concert called “From Bebop to Doo-Wop to Hip Hop” which featured Lamont Dozier and the late James Moody, and he served as the music director for the THEA awards, the annual gala for amusement parks worldwide.

Dan holds a music degree from the University of Southern California. As a teacher, he combines thoughtful instruction with creative inspiration to help students express themselves through music. He is influenced by his former teachers, Alan Pasqua, Peter Erskine, Bob Mintzer, Russ Ferrante, Tamir Hendelman and Bobbette Cameron.

July 27- Benefit Concert for Arte Consciente in at the Laguna Beach Neighborhood Congregational Church. Time TBD.

September 5- The closing concert in the Laguna Beach Live’s Jazz Wednesdays at the Hotel Laguna.
